How the System Works

BXI Checks

Your BXI Trade credit account is maintained much like your own checking account.
When you earn BXI trade credits, other BXI members will write you a BXI check for
the amount of their purchase* (*note sales tax is always collected in cash). When
you buy an item from another BXI member, you also write a BXI check for the
amount of the purchase.

24 Hour Authorization Line

When you accept a BXI check as payment you will need to call the BXI
authorization line if the check is for $25.00 or more. To get an authorization, call
1-800-333-4909, or if you are calling from California, call 1-800-400-8429. The
system will prompt you as to the steps necessary to obtain an authorization
number. Once you have received the authorization number, write the number on the
BXI check in the space indicated. This authorization number guarantees your
payment for a period of 30 days.

Deposit Slips

When you accept a BXI check, you will need to fill out a BXI deposit slip and mail
both the check and deposit slip to the BXI Corporate office. All checks are
processed on the same day they are received.

Monthly Statements

At the beginning of each month, you will receive a monthly statement that will
indicate all of your trade activity for the prior month. Please use this statement to
verify all of your deposits and expenditures. All service fees are compiled with this
statement.
