How to Join BX

* You must be a business owner (small, medium, large- it doesn’t matter!) We have small home-based businesses, and businesses as large as McDonnell-Douglas!

* Multi-level businesses, realtors and insurance may work with barter by handling your commissions on bx, and the rest in cash. 

* You must have been in business for at least one year.

* We do not accept too many businesses in the same field that only serve a local area. That way, you will not have too much competition and its better for all concerned.

Costs:

One-Time Joining Fee: Cost is $595 to join.  We can sometimes work out part of that in trade if you have a local service or goods we can use right away.

Monthly Statement/Newsletter Fee: $10 cash, $10 bx. Some things can't be purchased with bx - like postage. 

Trade Fee: 10% when you BUY, NOTHING when you sell, unlike other organizations who charge when you buy and sell.

Annual maintenance fees: $90 bx, $60 cash.  This pays for our office and employees to manage all of the BX accounts. 

* Find what you want: BXI is the oldest and largest International barter organization with over 100,000 members. With that many businesses, we can almost guarantee that you will find what you want with BX!

* National Advertising Hotline goes out monthly and lists goods and services classifieds. FREE ads are available (space permitting) for members .

*Monthly BX Midwest Newsletter with Free ads for our members.

* BXI Midwest Networking meetings. Get to know other local BX members you can do business with. We try to have an educational speaker at each meeting. If you don't live in our area, we will refer you to a local broker, and you can attend their meetings.

* FREE classified ad per month in the newsletter.

*FREE listing on our web site.  You may also find other BXI websites to list with.

*Annual Holiday Trade Show where you can buy gifts.

Join BXI and receive $100 off the $595 fee for finding us through the internet. Just mention this ad when you contact us!
